misconception? assumption? did I just jump the gun?
the ever knowledgable mystic is once again oblivious to her own predicament.
but there is no need for her to be a martyr this time thus prompting her to smarten up.
deceived by a few smooth words & 'flushed cheek' inducing compliments.
what she did not suspect was the monster that hid behind those kind words.
he charmed her with his wit & humor. enough creativity to captivate her mind for a few moments.
stolen smiles and heart flutters, until she put the pieces together.
he claimed love but there was nothing beautiful about the way he pursued her.
how is it love, when she feels threatened? where is the beauty in making her feel vulnerable to the very world in which she seeks comfort?
